About Kendra Dostaler, RVT

Kendra currently works on the surgery service team with Purdue University Large Animal Hospital. She mainly works with surgical outpatient appointments but rotates through the OR suites as needed. She has also been part of the inpatient care/treatment team that also serves as emergency receiving and critical/ICU care. Before Purdue, Kendra worked several years in mixed and large animal general practices, both ambulatory and clinical. She has also created her own podcast and education platform “Kendra the Vet Tech” to help budding technicians find their way. Her big project over the last year has been getting her application submitted to the Academy of Equine Veterinary Nursing Technicians in hopes to sit for the 2024 exam.
