Meet your host Julie Legred, CVT, FFCVP
Julie graduated from the University of Minnesota – Waseca in 1985 with an Associates in Applied Science in Animal Health Technology and became a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT). She has extensive experience across various veterinary fields, including small animal and exotic practices, education, corporate medicine, and consulting. Julie served as Executive Director for the Winn Feline Foundation and NAVTA. She has held leadership roles in several veterinary organizations, including the AVMA and Companion Animal Parasite Council. In 2012, she founded Veterinary Technician Advancements and later co-founded Veterinary Advancements. Currently, she is the Veterinary Education Program Coordinator for Edcetera, supporting the VetPrep, VetTechPrep, and Vetcetera brands.
